Nevada, P.S. I love you

Three artists working with the Nevada Arts Council BRX Cultural Exchange Project, and others across the state, hope to send art post cards flying across Nevada, creating cultural bridges from urban to rural and back again. Connecting Nevadans through the mail, with art and a note about what we all love from all the places we call home.

Artists, Candace Garlock, Truckee Meadows Community College, Reno, Bobbie Ann Howell, Nevada Humanities, Las Vegas, and Cindy Whitaker, Cinderella Studio Photography, Winnemucca are leading postcard workshops and coordinating with other communities who want to host workshops, or receive post cards for their town.  Post cards will be sent via U.S. Mail.

Rules:
1.         Participants must be willing to make a card and share a positive message about       what they love about the Nevada they call home. 

2.         Making more than one card is encouraged.

3.         Taking time to care about each other

Post card communities:
Post cards will be mailed to individuals, distributed at locations such as a community centers, library, café, a fire station, school, or any location or event we have a partner to aid in distribution or hosting a post card hands – on workshop.

We hope to also get a responses back, a set of post cards in the Post Card Kit will be made to be returned to the home base with Candace Garlock.
